Terms & Conditions

Cancellations:

Unless cancellation is received in writing via email at least 10 working days before the start date of the course, the full fees are payable in full and non-refundable.  There will be no refunds applicable to course cancellations beyond 10 days of the commencement of the course

Changes to Courses:

Market Effects Consultancy Ltd reserves the right to change any part of a published course; if this is caused by circumstances beyond our control.  Market Effects Consultancy reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any course and will advise the customer as soon as the change is known. For any course which is rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances including course low fill where applicable every endeavour will be made to reschedule the course and we will offer delegates as many options as possible to complete their training programme. For any course cancellations by Market Effects should alternative options not be feasible, a full refund will be issued. Contents of course timetables are intended for general guidance only. Any typographical error including pricing or omission in any website, sales literature, administrative documentation, course materials, invoice, or other documents shall be liable to correction without any liability on the part of Market Effects Consultancy Ltd

Market Effects Consultancy Ltd reserves the right to change the location and will advise the customer as soon as the change is known.

Payments:

Deposits and Course fees are payable in full immediately upon confirmation. Customer Payments can be made by major debit cards and via secured payments through Paypal directly from the company website. Full payment will be required on confirmation before the start of the first class.

Market Effects Consultancy Ltd reserves the right to refuse entry to training until the course fee is paid in full.

Once a deposit has been paid or full payment has been processed, over the phone or on the website students are adhering to the Market Effects Consultancy’s conditions and terms

Non-Attendance:

Non-attendance of any course for any reason whatsoever is deemed to be a cancellation with no notice and payment is due in full

Course Suitability:

The Student accepts that it is their responsibility that the course booked is suitable for their requirements. Courses may be recommended, yet the final decision concerning course fit its assessment and suitability is the Customer’s responsibility. Recommendations made where applicable will be made in good will and not wilfully misleading. All training courses are delivered only in English unless specified otherwise and all Delegates must be sufficiently proficient in the English language before attending the course.

Admission:

Market Effects Consultancy Ltd reserves the right to refuse admission to any person whom it considers in its absolute discretion to be unsuitable for the training programme.

Copyrights:

All intellectual property rights for all course materials shall remain the property of Market Effects Consultancy Ltd; The Student agrees not to reproduce, sell, hire, lend or copy the course materials or use them except for the purpose of personal reference.

Warranty & Liability:

Market Effects Consultancy Ltd will not be liable for indirect, special or consequential loss (including loss of anticipated profit or data), howsoever arising, even if it has been advised of such potential loss and will not be responsible for any damage or loss to computer or other accessories

Personal Belongings:

Personal belonging or items belonging to the students their possessions brought on to training courses are the sole responsibility of the student. Market Effects Consultancy Ltd accepts no responsibility of the items or any loss or damage that may occur during the course.

Deviation:

Deviation from these terms is not permissible without the express permission of Market Effects Consultancy Ltd. No communication either verbal or printed on our websites will override these Terms and Conditions

Force Majeure:

Market Effects Consultancy Ltd shall not be in breach of this contract if the provision of services are delayed or cancelled or reduced through any circumstances beyond its reasonable control. Students must ensure that they can attend the training courses which they are scheduled to attend. Market Effects Consultancy will not be held liable, financially or actually, for student’s non-attendance, whatever be the reason.

Privacy Policy:

Privacy is a major commitment of Market Effects Consultancy Ltd and the use of your personal information. If at any stage you have a question regarding the personal information that we hold on file, please do not hesitate to contact us.

We will not disclose personal information to a third party organisation unless we have your prior consent to provide this or you have opted to allow the use of your personal information. If the request for your personal information is for a legal purpose, this we would class as an exception, but only after we have 100% fully verified the name or organisation requesting your personal details, and shall at no stage disclose personal credit card account information that is voluntarily provided during a transaction process, whether by telephone or via our secure web-portal. Exception being where we were to make contact with the credit card company for validation or verification of any transaction

It is our commitment not to collect personal information from customers visiting our website unless they have voluntarily submitted their personal information via one of our contact forms that requires information which could be based on an enquiry or to book onto a training course. If you start to complete a contact enquiry form and decide not to finish, partial details are stored from which Market Effects Consultancy Ltd may use this information to make contact with you, only to discuss your initial enquiry which was started but not finished. Every now and then Market Effects Consultancy Ltd may contact you to inform you about a specific training program that is related to your original enquiry, request or training course. Students are not permitted to take any video/photography/audio during the course without prior written consent of Market Effects Ltd, failure to do so will be considered a direct breach of our terms of business and this matter would be taken very seriously.

We use the highest level of security and encryption methods available for processing payments online. We also strictly adhere to best practices of data protection. That means your payment details are as secure as they possibly can be when making a purchase with us.
